The true highlight of the piece is the magnificent top, crafted from a mosaic of solid, thick Murano glass pieces. The glass fragments, characterised by irregular geometric cuts, varied thicknesses and a rich colour palette (shades of red, blue, yellow, green and amber, as well as opaline transparencies), capture and refract the light, creating a striking kaleidoscopic effect. The top is framed by a slender perimeter border and supported by a solid yet minimalist black-painted metal bridge-style structure, which allows the artistic composition of the upper surface to stand out to its fullest.
